Sigourney Weaver, fully aware of how to get her fans frothing, has said she’d be interested in making a fifth Alien movie.
Speaking at the annual Hero Complex Film Festival, she suggested that the humanity of her iconic, long-suffering character Ellen Ripley would have prevailed “had we done a fifth one,” adding, “I do feel like there is more story to tell.”
And that’s really all we needed to begin speculating wildly about a potential Alien revival.
But still, she gave us more.
“I feel a longing from fans for the story to be finished… I could imagine a situation where we finish telling the story.”
Tongues, get wagging!
